Beauty & Aesthetics Training NE was established by Louise Forrest in 2018. In October 2021, after outgrowing her original premises in Stanley, County Durham, she relocated to a new site in Durham City.
Over the years, Beauty & Aesthetics Training has offered Level 2 funded beauty courses and expanded into aesthetics, bringing in leading industry tutors with specialised expertise. Her students value the friendly and relaxed learning environment, and the academy has become a close-knit community with a high percentage of returning learners.

Louise Forrest
Director and Tutor
Louise began her career in the beauty industry at the age of 17. At 19, she opened her own salon and successfully managed a team of hairdressers and beauty therapists
After a prosperous three-year period, she sold her salon and enrolled at university to pursue a degree. Upon completing her academic studies, Louise ventured into the TV and film industry, working on some of the world’s most famous reality TV shows. Although her career path took a different direction, Louise continued offering beauty treatments to her clients.
Five years later, Louise decided to pursue a teaching qualification and, due to personal circumstances, stepped away from her TV career. She founded her own beauty academy. Since launching Beauty & Aesthetics Training NE, Louise discovered her passion for helping people and decided to make a difference in the lives of young people and education.
She later established Empowher CIC and Eden Girls CIC, offering Level 1 beauty courses to students who face challenges integrating into mainstream education. Realising that beauty was not the only field her students were interested in, Eden Education Group now offers not only beauty but also building trades, hospitality, and customer service courses.
